Overview
Extend an image to a larger canvas or new aspect ratio — AI generates the new surrounding area. Your original is never cropped or stretched. Costs 1 token per image.
How to use
- Open Generative Expand from the sidebar.
- Upload an image.
- Pick an aspect-ratio preset, or type a custom target width and height (px).
- Drag the image on the canvas to choose where it sits — the shaded area is what will be generated.
- Optionally describe what to generate, then click Expand (1 token) and download.
Tips
- The target must be larger than the original in at least one dimension.
- A short prompt (e.g. "continue the beach and sky") helps the fill blend.
