Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 19, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Waripixel ("we", "us") collects, uses, and protects your information when you use the Waripixel Toolbox (the "Service"). We aim to collect as little as possible.
1. Information we collect
- Account information. If you create an account or sign in, we store your name, email address, and an encrypted password (or third-party sign-in identifier).
- Purchases. When you buy image tokens or license images, payment is processed by Stripe. We do not store your card details; we keep a record of the purchase (amount, date, items, and token balance).
- Downloads. For licensed images you purchase, we keep a record of your download activity (such as the item, date, and time) as proof of delivery and to help resolve any billing dispute.
- Images you upload. Images you process with our premium AI tools are sent securely to our processing provider (Fal.ai) to generate your result. We do not retain your uploaded images or results on our servers after processing.
- Local data. Free color and image tools run in your browser. Saved colors, theme, and language preferences are stored locally on your device and are not sent to us.
- Technical data. Our hosting provider (Cloudflare) may process limited technical information (such as IP address) to deliver and secure the Service.
2. How we use your information
- To provide the Service, authenticate you, and process token purchases.
- To run the AI image tools you request.
- To maintain security, prevent abuse, and comply with legal obligations.
We do not sell your personal information.
3. Cookies
We use essential cookies to keep you signed in and to remember your preferences — these are required for the Service to function. With your consent, we may use analytics cookies — from Google Analytics, Microsoft Clarity, and Amplitude — to understand usage and improve the Service. You can set your choice in the cookie banner and change it any time from the "Cookie preferences" link in the sidebar menu.
4. Third-party processors
- Stripe — payment processing.
- Fal.ai — AI image processing of images you submit to premium tools.
- Cloudflare — hosting, storage, and security.
- Google Analytics, Microsoft Clarity, Amplitude — optional, consent-based usage analytics to help us improve the Service.
These providers process data on our behalf under their own privacy and security terms.
5. Data retention
We keep account and purchase records for as long as your account is active or as needed for legal and accounting purposes. Uploaded images are processed transiently and not retained by us.
6. Legal bases for processing (EEA/UK)
If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, we process your personal data on the following legal bases under the GDPR:
- Performance of a contract — to create your account, run the tools you request, and deliver purchases.
- Legitimate interests — to secure the Service, prevent abuse and fraud, and improve our products, balanced against your rights.
- Consent — for optional analytics cookies; you may withdraw consent at any time.
- Legal obligation — to meet accounting, tax, and other legal requirements.
7. International transfers
We and our processors (including Stripe, Fal.ai, and Cloudflare) may process data in countries outside your own, including the United States. Where required, such transfers are protected by appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses or an equivalent mechanism.
8. Your rights
Depending on your location (including under the EU/UK GDPR), you have the right to access, correct, export (data portability), restrict, or delete your personal data, to object to certain processing, and to withdraw consent at any time without affecting prior processing. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at the address below; we will respond within the timeframe required by applicable law. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection supervisory authority.
9. Children
The Service is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their data. If you believe a child has provided us personal data, contact us and we will delete it.
10. Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date above.
